At Revety, we believe in the power of community, and few organisations embody that spirit better than Chorley Marlins Amateur Swimming Club. That’s why we’re delighted to be contributing to their 2025 Club Championships – Distance Meet, taking place this November across two fantastic venues in Chorley and Darwen.
Gala Details
The gala is one of the highlights of the Marlins calendar, offering swimmers of all ages and abilities the chance to compete, grow, and celebrate their progress.
Distance Events:
📍 Friday 14th November at All Seasons Leisure Centre, Chorley
🕖 Warm-up: 7:00pm
Events include 800m and 1500m freestyle for swimmers aged 12+
Main Meet:
📍 Sunday 16th November at Darwen Leisure Centre
🕛 12:00–5:00pm
Featuring a full programme from 50m sprints to 400m medleys across all strokes
Spectators are welcome, with entry just £3.00 — and there’ll be a raffle to raise funds for the club, so bring your generosity and cheer!

Our Commitment to the Community
Founded in 1973, Chorley Marlins is a SwimMark accredited club affiliated with Swim England. They offer a clear pathway from beginner lessons to competitive squads, with swimmers regularly competing at County, Regional, and National levels. Their commitment to coaching, teamwork, and inclusivity makes them a cornerstone of the local sporting community.

Chorley Marlins is always looking for volunteers — from timekeepers and team managers to raffle helpers and chaperones.
